About NOON Association
NOON is an international musicians’ association based in Switzerland (Jura) and in France (Paris).
All members are musicians — creative, improvised and mostly acoustic music such as jazz — but the president, who is a retired cultural policy of state (Jura CH) and used to be an artistic actor in Switzerland for over 40 years.
The musicians come mainly from the music scenes of Belgium (BE), Switzerland (CH), Germany (DE) and France (FR).
The association may validly rule in the countries where it is active.
As a reminder, all associations must be « non-profit ». All income from NOON booking activities is reinvested in NOON prod. activities.
Decisions regarding the admission of new members are made by the association’s committee. The committee meets via video conference or in person approximately every two months.
Only members of the association have access to own NOON’s productions such as creations, recordings, promotional material, …
Our association was founded in January 2023 in Altkirch (FR-68).
2024 was a year of implementation (new network & office)
Booking activities began in 2025.
The founding members — two French nationals, two Swiss nationals, and the Swiss president — are currently part of the committee. See pdf “Statutes”.

A termes & conditions fee — see pdf « Charter » — defines the conditions under which musicians wish to be hired, as well as their minimum requirements. For the sake of transparency, the association’s percentages — once the minimum without percentage has been reached — are also explained therein.
All members of the association act or work on a voluntary basis, including the president and the bookers.
As written above, all profits are reinvested in our (production) activities.
Once that is written …, there is no harmony, no rhythm neither dynamic, … no art without exception.
We remain wide open, we love encounters, inspiration from others, ideas, improvisation and (even pleasant) surprises.
